Work is continuing on repairing a major North Wales road after it partially collapsed on Wednesday. On Tuesday afternoon Traffic Wales announced the closure of the A5, between Betws-y-Coed and Pentrefoelas, saying this was due to emergency works on the route and asked drivers to “avoid the area”.
