Connected Kerb, the public EV charging network, has announced the acquisition of Trojan Energy’s pioneering Flat & Flush on-street charging technology and associated network.
The move strengthens Connected Kerb’s position as a leader in accessible, smart, and future-proof charging infrastructure designed for all communities.
Trojan’s engineering leadership and UK-based manufacturing of intelligent, discreet and durable infrastructure aligns closely with Connected Kerb’s mission to deliver long-life, low-maintenance community charging solutions at scale.
Connected Kerb will maintain the operation of Trojan’s 1,500 existing live charge points and integrate Trojan’s Flat & Flush Hub and Home products into its own proven technology portfolio.
The acquisition enhances Connected Kerb’s ability to deliver high-density neighbourhood charging, where we are resolving critical barriers to EV ownership for the 60% of households without access to off-street parking.
With EV ownership accelerating and public charging demand increasingly centred on reliability, availability, and urban accessibility, the combined Connected Kerb–Trojan portfolio is uniquely positioned to meet this challenge head-on.
Trojan’s subsurface technology also complements Connected Kerb’s own established architecture, enabling future cross compatibility and supporting next generation developments in intelligent kerbside management.
