Egis has secured accreditation by the Institute of Sustainability and Environmental Professionals (ISEP), which recognises the business as an official training centre and validates its own flagship ecodesign course.
This enables Egis’ registered trainers to deliver all ISEP programmes, which cover topics ranging from net zero, resource management and biodiversity to environmental foundations, worldwide.
The accreditation comes at a time when countries like the UK are under pressure to establish a healthy balance between biodiversity net gain, climate resilience and major infrastructure delivery, all while
remaining on track to reach net zero by 2050.
As an approved training centre, Egis will now help organisations navigate similar challenges, supported by in-house tools such as EVA Climate, a proprietary system for assessing climate risks to infrastructure assets.

Egis’ own ecodesign course, hosted in collaboration with AXA Climate, comprises 10 modules across seven environmental themes, including carbon, biodiversity and climate resilience.
Completion of modules within the course provides continuing professional development (CPD) credits recognised across the sector.
Earlier this year, a skills-survey of UK engineering and technology employers revealed that 76% struggled to recruit for key roles, with“technical and specialist sustainability skills” topping the list.
