Entries now open for the IHE North West Branch Awards 2025

The Institute of Highway Engineers (IHE) North West Branch is pleased to announce that entries are now open for the prestigious IHE North West Branch Awards 2025. This event celebrates excellence and outstanding achievements in highways, public realm, active travel, traffic, and transport sectors across the region.

Taking place on Friday 11 July 2025, at The Halston in Carlisle (CA1 1AB), this black-tie gala will bring together professionals from across the sector in a vibrant James Bond-themed evening entitled “Diamonds Are Forever/Casino Royale”. It promises a fantastic night of celebration, networking, and entertainment while raising funds for the British Red Cross.

Award Categories

Entries are invited for the following categories:

• Large Project of the Year (over £3 million)
• Small Project of the Year (under £3 million)
• Environmental Sustainability Project of the Year
• Safety and Innovation Project of the Year
• Active Travel, Sustainable Transport Project of the Year
• Highway Partnership Award
• Team of the Year
• Early Careers Award

Submit your completed entry form by email to north_west@theihe.org no later than 17:00 on Thursday 17 April 2025.

Entries will be evaluated by Industry experts and senior figure heads judging panel, and the shortlist will be announced on 19 May 2025.
