FS Italiane Group has launched FS Advisory, a specialist transport and infrastructure consultancy.
Headquartered in London, it will provide advisory services to governments, institutional investors, operators, infrastructure developers, and construction and engineering companies involved in complex mobility projects worldwide.
FS Advisory addresses a critical market gap: growing demand from clients who require integrated expertise in the transportation industry across regulatory frameworks, infrastructure development and operations – capabilities that have traditionally been fragmented across separate advisory firms.
The new consultancy firm is uniquely positioned to support public and private clients in optimising their transport assets at an international level, thanks to the Group’s track record of operating one of Europe’s largest, most comprehensive transport networks which includes over 17,000 km of railway lines, over 2,100 tunnels, 23,000 bridges and viaducts, 2,200 stations, and 32,000 km of roads.
The aim is to address the new challenges of digitalisation, sustainability, and multimodal connectivity in the transport sector through consultants capable of understanding both the specific requirements of public service obligations and operational and commercial dynamics. FS Advisory will therefore support public and private clients in the reorganisation of the transport sector, providing digital mobility solutions, including ticketing platforms and performance monitoring systems already widely adopted across Europe, as well as specialist expertise in transport and infrastructure across the entire value chain.
The offering is complemented by Shadow and Interim Management services, designed to support governance transitions, nationalisation processes, and operational change. FS Advisory is led by Ernesto Sicilia, previously Managing Director of Trenitalia
