Newly updated guidance for sign­ing arrange­ments for motor­way ser­vice areas (MSAs) and other road­side facil­i­ties on major roads in Eng­land has been published by National Highways.

This guide includ­es details on sign design, erec­tion, main­te­nance and funding on the strate­gic road net­work (major roads and trunk roads) in England.

Highways England suggests that the guidance should always be read in conjunction with the current Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions (TSRGD) and Traffic Signs Manual (TSM) which provide detailed guidance on the design and use of traffic signs.
