Kerbo Charge, the UK’s largest provider of cross-pavement charging channels, has announced the acquisition of one of its competitors, Charge Gully.
“Ultimately this is about ensuring customers have choice” said Michael Goulden, Founder & CEO of Kerbo Charge. “Charge Gully has built a great market presence, and with the addition of their product in our offering we’ll be able to accelerate the adoption of cross-pavement charging by UK local authorities.”
Kerbo Charge will continue to invest in Charge Gully as a standalone brand, giving councils and end users flexibility in the product they choose to deploy – whether it’s Kerbo Charge’s patented, pavement contouring channel or Charge Gully’s lockable aluminium design.
Both brands will continue to be British-designed and manufactured.

Charge Gully built a rapid market presence in a short period of time, with installations in, among others, Lancashire, Suffolk, Renfrewshire, Coventry.
Moving forward, Kerbo Charge will take over Charge Gully’s existing product warranties and stock will be shipped from their central logistics hub, ensuring faster, more efficient service.

Kerbo Charge will use the acquisition to springboard UK growth – with the company currently on track to be live with over 25% of all UK local authorities by the end of 2025 – making EV ownership much more attractive and affordable for millions of British residents.
