Multi-Contracting Services Ltd (MCS) the innovative contracting business headed up by highway maintenance specialist, Lee Merces, was recently awarded first place on the Via East Midlands framework to provide mastic road maintenance repairs for a maximum period of four years.
“Winning first place on this prestigious framework to provide highway maintenance services brings a sense of great pride to the business.” said Mercer. “I started my career in highway maintenance delivery and to be coming full circle and continuing to deliver maintenance work for the people of Nottinghamshire is a great privilege.”
Originally a Suffolk based business, MCS has rapidly expanded its client base across the UK and is growing quickly. This new contract in Nottinghamshire widens the scope of the business and their geographic footprint and Merces is optimistic for the future.
He continued, ”We have ambitions to grow our capabilities, specialisms, and our client base. We won’t take on just any work, we want to be known for high quality service and client satisfaction and in particular want to work with forward thinking clients who are looking to challenge traditional approaches.”
Recognising the need for innovation he concluded with reference to MCS’s strong emphasis on sustainability.
