Monotch has made its TLEX® Interchange, the data exchange engine behind Europe’s most advanced connected mobility programs, available on the Microsoft Azure Marketplace.
With this launch, public authorities, integrators, and infrastructure owners worldwide can now quickly spin up a fully managed, C-ITS-compliant data exchange engine by following a wizard-based installation process and start exchanging real-time traffic data immediately.
Cloud-native, standards-based, and future-ready TLEX Interchange is a cloud-native engine for real-time, low-latency data exchange between mobility actors. Built on AMQP and aligned with international standards such as C-Roads, it enables public authorities, integrators, and infrastructure owners to create future-ready data flows without the need to build their own systems.
Already used in flagship programs like Mobilidata (Belgium) and NordicWay, TLEX Interchange has become a trusted foundation for smart city deployments, traffic control, and C-ITS use cases.
“With TLEX Interchange on Azure, deploying connected mobility solutions has never been faster, easier and more affordable,” said Menno Malta, CEO of Monotch. “Public authorities, integrators, and infrastructure owners can focus on implementing use cases and the impact they have, rather than having to focus on technology challenges.”
Through the Microsoft Azure Marketplace, customers can deploy TLEX Interchange directly into their own Azure environment, integrate instantly with ready-made connectors, and scale confidently using Azure’s secure global infrastructure – without months of engineering work. Being highly flexible, it allows scaling up from pilots and trials to custom deployments and scaling down again. Due to its portability, TLEX Interchange also easily migrates to a private
cloud or even an on-premises environment, as all accounts and settings are easily transferable.
