Temporary traffic lights on on a main road in Pembrokeshire have been changed after complaints over the delays to motorists.
The use of the lights on the A40 at Canaston Bridge now start at 9am rather than 8am and resurfacing work will start overnight instead of during the day, says the Western Telegraph.
The update was shared by Pembrokeshire county councillor Marc Tierney, who raised it after drivers experienced delays on the A40 between Narberth and Haverfordwest.
Cllr Tierney posted on social media: “I raised concerns with Traffic Wales this morning following lengthy delays experienced by drivers along the #A40 between Narberth, and Haverfordwest this week. I have been told:
“From Thursday, there will be a change to the use of temporary traffic lights avoiding peak times (eg starting at 9am rather than 8am). Resurfacing work will take place overnight instead of during the day.
“Traffic Wales continues to advise drivers they may experience some delays until the work concludes by 7th February.”
