Perega opens new London office

Independent structural and civil engineering firm Perega has opened a new branch office in London’s Waterloo.

Working in tandem with the existing Leytonstone office, this strategic move will enhance Perega’s ability to service clients in London and the South East, allocating extra resources following an escalation of activity within the regions.

Headed up by recently-appointed Technical Director, Mark Goddard, the Waterloo site will comprise engineers and technicians delivering a wide range of structural and civil engineering services. The team will be busy from the outset, working on a variety of projects in the area, including retail, commercial and residential.

Commenting on the opening, Managing Director, Fraser Robb, says, “London and the South East are a hive of construction activity. With decades of experience and a considerable amount of local knowledge accrued from our longstanding Leytonstone and Guildford offices, we have become a go-to engineering consultancy within both regions. However, as demand for our services increases, we need to have the necessary resources to meet it. We chose the Waterloo location as it perfectly positions us to cover the Greater London area, and also access all corners of the South East, being equidistant between Waterloo and London Bridge.

Adds Goddard: “The new office will not only give us the freedom to quickly increase manpower as we win more work, but will also help us move with greater agility. Crucially, we’ll be able to support the other offices within these regions and support them on larger-scale projects which may require extra resource at short notice, which in turn will unlock more high-value jobs. It will also bring us closer to our clients, helping us continue to deliver the best-in-class customer service we’ve built our reputation on.”
