Signs of Progress: IHE announces 2026 Traffic Signs Conference in Birmingham

The Institute of Highway Engineers (IHE) is pleased to announce that its flagship Traffic Signs Conference will take place on Tuesday, 24 March 2026, in Birmingham. Supported by the Department for Transport (DfT) and sponsored by Causeway, the theme for this year is ‘Signs of Progress’.

Widely recognised as the UK’s leading event dedicated to traffic signing, road markings, and wayfinding, the Traffic Signs Conference brings together local authorities, industry experts, contractors, and academics to share the latest developments, best practice, in highway engineering.

The 2026 conference will feature:
