The winners of the £350 million Thames Water Framework include Costain, Mott MacDonald and Kier.
The AMP7 framework is for works running from 2020-2025 and the contractors will work to maintain and improve Thames Water’s network of underground water pipes and sewers as well as pumping stations, reservoirs and treatment sites.
The frameworks have been awarded in two lots as follows:
Lot one is non-infrastructure: Costain, MWH Treatment, Mott MacDonald Bentley, Kier Infrastructure, Glan Agua, Galliford Try, Barhale, Bridges Electrical
Lot two is infrastructure: Kier Infrastructure, Morrison Utility Services, Galliford Try, J Browne Construction, Barhale & Clancy Docwra
Thames Water capital delivery director John Bentley said: “This is a really difficult but exciting time for us and our suppliers as we mark the start of the delivery phase of AMP7. We know we have some tough challenges to get through now and lying further ahead, but we are all set to work together in providing resilient and reliable clean and waste water services to our 15 million customers across London and the Thames Valley.”
