Highway maintenance manufacturer UltraCrete were delighted to assist VolkerHighways with the latest phase of this ambitious project and donated eight tubs of Instagrip anti-skid patch repair to rectify a damaged step and walkway at the community facility. Members of the UltraCrete team also volunteered their time to complete the works.
Instagrip is ideal for the patching and reinstating of high friction areas after maintenance work has taken place. This anti-skid patch repair is ideal for use on pedestrian crossings, junctions, roundabouts, footbridges, subways, steel plates and manhole covers.
Instagrip has a set time of just 1-2 hours, is available in five colours and boasts a fast return to service – the perfect properties for quick, effective and permanent repairs.
On completing this project, Jeremy Crane, Trustee of ALMA Beacon, commented: “I would like to say thank you to VolkerHighways and to their partner UltraCrete, for the work they have done at the front of the building which will make a great difference to us.”
