Umovity to showcase Integrated Mobility Solutions at Intertraffic Amsterdam 2026

Umovity, the joint brand uniting Econolite and PTV Group, will present its latest integrated technology solutions at Intertraffic Amsterdam, taking place from 10–13 March 2026. On stand 02.218, Umovity will demonstrate how a connected, data-driven Mobility Operating System helps cities address the growing complexity of urban mobility.

Urban mobility networks worldwide are under increasing pressure. Cities must manage rising travel demand while advancing climate goals, achieving Vision Zero, and creating more inclusive and efficient multimodal systems. Fortunately, a convergence of hardware and software innovations is unlocking new opportunities to better manage mobility in more predictive and coordinated ways.

By combining the complementary strengths of Econolite and PTV Group, integrating modeling, simulation, and AI-powered predictive planning software with field-proven traffic management hardware, Umovity enables true interoperability across the mobility ecosystem. Visitors to the booth will experience the vision of an intelligent Mobility Operating System: a unified, interoperable platform designed to bridge traditionally siloed systems. By integrating planning, simulation, operations, data analytics, and optimization within one coherent decision learning loop, cities can transition from reactive traffic control to predictive and continuously optimized mobility strategies.

At Intertraffic 2026, Umovity will showcase the latest innovations from the Umovity Tech Suite.

PTV Optima, the advanced platform for real-time traffic management and optimization, is already deployed in cities such as Taichung, Vienna, and Rome. With its October 2025 release, Optima introduced powerful new capabilities, including PTV Optima Machine Learning, which forecasts demand and congestion across the entire mobility spectrum, anticipating queues for taxis, shared vehicles, and even parking facilities.

Also on display is PTV Flows, a lightweight, AI-based cloud solution for network-wide real-time traffic monitoring and travel time forecasting. PTV Flows integrated with Econolite’s cloud-based Centracs® Mobility platform offers the industry’s only ATMS capable of enabling traffic managers to proactively and optimize and intelligently automate traffic signal operations.

Econolite will present its next-generation detection technologies launched in 2025. The new EPIQ RADAR™, equipped with a built-in 1080p camera streaming at 30 FPS, delivers exceptional precision, reliability, and simplicity. Complementing this portfolio is Autoscope® OptiVu, Econolite’s award-winning AI-driven HD video detection sensor. Both sensors provide new levels of situational awareness and rich data collection for Smart City readiness and interoperability.

Visitors can explore these innovations in greater depth during dedicated in-booth sessions. Highlights include a presentation by Hamburg’s agency of roads, bridges and waterbodies on its innovative Mobility Operating System and a session on proactive traffic management with CentracsMobility and PTV Flows.
