Westcotec targeting ‘global growth’ at Intertraffic Amsterdam

Intelligent traffic safety systems specialists Westcotec will be showcasing its latest innovations at Intertraffic Amsterdam next week.

The Norfolk-based company will highlight its expanding portfolio of sensor-based vehicle-activated signs, collision avoidance solutions and smart city platforms designed to improve safety and gather high-quality data for transport authorities worldwide.

Founded in 2001, Westcotec designs, manufactures and installs a comprehensive range of traffic safety technologies, including speed indicator devices, ANPR-enabled enforcement tools, over-height detection, flood warning systems and advanced junction safety solutions. Its systems are already in use in thousands of locations, helping partners reduce collisions, manage speeds and make better-informed policy and investment decisions.

Looking ahead to Intertraffic, Westcotec managing director Chris Spinks said:

“Our recent trip to Australia was hugely encouraging, with a series of very positive meetings and demonstrations of how Westcotec technology can help address local road safety challenges. We are looking forward to following up many of those introductory discussions at Intertraffic, where we can continue the conversations we started in Australia and explore practical deployment plans.

“At the same time, Intertraffic offers a fantastic opportunity to welcome our existing customers from around the world, and to meet new organisations who may be looking to introduce proven Westcotec solutions into their own jurisdictions.

“We are always keen to talk about how our technology can be adapted to local conditions to deliver measurable casualty reduction and behaviour change.”

Westcotec will be at stand 01.100 at Intertraffic , which takes place at the RAI Amsterdam. Team members will be available throughout the event to discuss ongoing and future projects with international partners, consultants, city authorities and enforcement agencies.

Interested delegates are invited to visit the stand to see live demonstrations, review case studies and explore how Westcotec’s flexible platforms can support safer, more efficient road networks.
