ADEPT explains value of “stronger places toolkit” on urban transformation

The Association of Directors of Environment, Economy, Planning and Transport, ADEPT, has posted a new blog from the Place Leaders’ Pioneering, Action-orientated, Creative and Entrepreneurial (PACE) programme, focusing on the transformation of Nuneaton.

The PACE Programme, run by ADEPT in partnership with Amey, is designed exclusively for place directors and senior leadership. It focuses on thought leadership and behavioural insight, two important areas for the highways and traffic management sector.

The latest blog talks about the programme’s third session of 2024, highlighting the strategic initiatives to revitalise Nuneaton.

Authored by Mark Ryder from Warwickshire County Council, the blog emphasises the importance of creating space for reflection among place leaders through the PACE programme.

The post describes the new ‘Stronger Places Toolkit’ and highlights three key themes: effective storytelling, building stronger local connections and the value of ongoing reflection in project delivery.

The toolkit will be available following the ADEPT Autumn Conference, taking place this week (21 and 22 November).
