Multevo are launching another UK-first road maintenance innovation, unveiling their low carbon electric powered mastic boiler through a live demonstration at this year’s LCRIG Innovation & Learning Festival.
Taking place on Wednesday and Thursday of this week at Stoneleigh Park, Multevo return to the event as the Technical Learning Partner and have a packed agenda of live demonstrations and technical talks.
The electric powered mastic boiler is the first available in the UK, providing an environmentally friendly solution for delivering recycled rubber mastic repairs. The boiler can be used both day and night, with the silent running electric motor keeping noise to a minimum and extending the working window in residential areas.
The new solution features a short chute design for cleaner and safer distribution of mastic, and the bespoke wheelbarrow eliminates manual handling injuries associated with traditional mastic buckets.
Multevo have tried and tested the unit within their own self-delivery function across urban and rural environments, gaining a good understanding of the productivity, sustainability and safety advantages.
Those attending the festival will gain a first look at this unique solution.
