LCRIG have announced that the full agenda for the 2026 Innovation & Learning Festival is now live. Thw two-day programme brings together a dynamic mix of speakers, live demonstrations, and interactive experiences designed to showcase the very best in highways innovation, learning, and collaboration.
This year’s programme features several must-attend sessions focused on some of the most important topics currently facing the sector. Hear from:
- Department for Transport – Gain insights into key national initiatives and developments relating to transparency reporting, the Structures Fund, D-TRO and the Innovation Playbook.
- Transport Technology Forum – Discover how Connected Vehicle Services can be deployed within local highway networks and the opportunities they present for authorities and road users.
- National Highways – Learn how using DARe’s Transport Performance & Risk Analysis Framework can strengthen climate resilience for highways and roads.
- Connected Places Catapult – Explore TRIG innovation funding opportunities.
- Live Labs 2 – Gain practical insights from Live Labs 2 projects as they share approaches that can help authorities accelerate decarbonisation across local highway networks.
The Hackathon Sprint: Climate-Ready Networks – From Recovery to Resilience will bring together local authority and supply chain leaders to tackle one of the sector’s most urgent challenges.
This Hackathon Sprint will explore practical solutions, proven approaches, innovative ideas and emerging technologies, alongside opportunities for collaboration that can help strengthen the resilience of local road networks.

Alongside the headline sessions, delegates will have access to a comprehensive programme of CPD Technical Training sessions covering:
