With the popular JCT Traffic Signals Symposium returning to its roots this year with a slimmed-down event in Lincoln this year, bookings are now open for delegates to join the learned conference with fewer, more in-depth papers and a greater focus on technical aspects around traffic signals.
The new Symposium will take place on the 16 and 17 September 2026 at the University of Lincoln (pictured), close to JCT’s head office.
The slimmed-down event will still also involve a social evening enabling signals expert plenty of networking opportunities, with extensive detail shared around the latest technical solutions, thanks to longer papers and more time for questions and answers. There will be no exhibition this year.
“This excellent conference setting provides all the facilities needed for presentations, while networking and social events will be held close by,” explained JCT Director John Nightingale, who leads the organisation of the event. “JCT’s home city of Lincoln is one of the world’s great historic cities, celebrated for its unique blend of medieval heritage and contemporary city life, with the awe-inspiring Lincoln Cathedral towering above it – truly one of the world’s finest medieval buildings.”
