The Local Council Roads Innovation Group has opened bookings for its popular Strictly Highways event in Blackpool in October.
The event, which runs from 3-5 October brings together the highways community and celebrates the work that is taking place in our sector.

Delegates are promised the opportunity to learn about new innovations and technology, share experiences, receive updates from the DfT and network across the two days in the Ballroom at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool.
LCRIG says it is important to ensure events are accessible to the whole highways community, so is offering fully-funded places for public sector delegates. These include accommodation, transport to and from the hotel to the venue, catering and refreshments. This is funded by revenue generated through sponsorship and exhibitor sales.
Last year’s event saw more than 370 delegates attend over the two days, with representation from more than 70 different highway authorities from across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland as well as the Department for Transport, academia, industry associations, the supply chain and media.
Highways News will, of course, be there to report on the event.
