Highways and transport solutions provider Clearview Intelligence has won the Small and Medium Business award at the Milton Keynes Business Achievements Awards.
The company was recognised for its commitment to support infrastructure locally and through its research channels, it found that there was scope in the market for active travel in Milton Keynes.
Working in collaboration with the forward-thinking council departments in Milton Keynes, they are currently trialing their latest ClickLite Active Road Studs to delineate the road lanes on Patriot Drive in MK13 to enhance road safety and reduce road accidents.
Since Clearview’s head office moved to Milton Keynes five years ago, the technology solution provider has been on a mission to engage with the local community and use their solutions to improve local infrastructure. In its winning category submission, Clearview detailed its plans for sustainable business growth for the future, outlining its recently created sustainability strategy and explaining how the company develops strategy and how it manages to involve its stakeholders.
After a two-year absence, the Milton Keynes Business Achievement Awards were held at Stadium MK last week to honour the city’s outstanding achievements in business. With a packed ballroom of over 600 guests, the Chairman of MKBAA, Nicholas Mann opened the ceremony with a heartfelt welcoming speech. This year’s theme for the awards focused on ‘MK – Leading the UK’s Green Recovery – Survive, Revive & Thrive’ and like many of the night’s winners, Clearview had shown their ability to adapt their businesses to be more aware of their environmental responsibilities both now and into the future.
Clearview demonstrated how its charitable causes, carbon footprint reduction practices, giving back to the community, and improving the working environment, are just some of the activities they undertake to ensure they live by its ethos of making a genuine difference. As Milton Keynes continues to grow, Clearview aims to continually be involved with MK Council/ MK Highway to collaborate on further its road safety, active travel and traffic management schemes.
Nick Lanigan, Managing Director, commented, “We are honoured and delighted to win this award. It represents the culmination of our journey over the last five years establishing Clearview as integral part of the MK business community. We look forward to continuing to make a positive and sustainable contribution, helping Milton Keynes achieve the city status is so richly deserves.”
