A council in Scotland has told residents a statement on its website describing roadworks as being for 100 years was a mistake.
The Androssan and Saltcoats Herald reports that North Ayrshire Council stated that waiting and loading restrictions were set to be in place on Chapelwell and Hamilton Street.
Though further details added that this would be “for 100 years from junction of Dockhead Street – Northwards – both sides” from November 23 between 5am-11.59pm.
It was meant to say 100 yards and has now been corrected.
