Dynniq wins Dumfries & Galloway traffic signal maintenance contract

Dynniq has won a new Traffic Signals Maintenance contract in Dumfries & Galloway.

Due to commence in April 2021, the contract covers an initial 3-year period with possible extensions for a further 2 years.

The scope includes the maintenance of over 80 traffic signal sites and CCTV cameras. Alongside fault attendance, Dynniq will undertake planned maintenance activities such as annual inspections, electrical inspections and bulk lamp changing and cleaning. Upon taking over the contract, Dynniq will introduce a new fault management system, IMTRAC.

As part of the award, Dynniq received maximum scores for its quality proposal and were commended for its “comprehensive, unambiguous and thorough understanding of the contract requirements.”

This latest award caps an ‘excellent’ two years for our Scotland team having retained contracts in Fife, East Renfrewshire and SW Trunk Road, and acquired new contracts in Renfrewshire and North, East, South Ayrshire, said the company.
