From Action to Delivery: Transport + Energy Forum 2024

This year’s Transport + Energy Forum 2024 brings both sectors together to explore how to accelerate and execute a decarbonised future, mobilising senior representatives to collaborate across energy networks, fuel types, infrastructure and vehicles. Taking the theme ‘Moving from action to delivery: fulfilling the transition to a decarbonised future’, this year’s Forum continues to track the evolution of decarbonisation, with sessions focused on The Conversation, The Delivery and The Future.

Up to 300 delegates are expected in Warwick on 21 November, including 60 qualified local authority delegates who attend on fully funded places.

Sponsors, exhibitors and partners support the event, bringing their communities, expertise and collaboration ambitions to the table.

A packed, day-long agenda, includes a variety of key speakers from the transport and energy sector and beyond.

Cabaret style, 10 seat table set up encourages interaction and promotes collaboration. The agenda has built-in networking breaks to promote discussion amongst delegates and sponsors as well as audience participation through debate and Q&A sessions during the onstage content.

  • Keynote presentations: industry leaders announce their strategies
  • TED-style talks: relaxed and absorbing
  • Panel discussions: with Q&As from the audience
  • Oxford debate: to regulate or not to regulate?
  • Conversations with councils: table networking sessions with local authorities
  • Trade association takeover panel: we let them loose to propose an advocacy ‘deal’
  • As an added extra for delegates staying overnight, WMG will be lifting the lid on their key departments, with a tour of their innovation, manufacturing, apprenticeship and engineering facilities on Friday 22 November from 10:00-12:00. The tour will give delegates the opportunity to meet specialists in materials, batteries, laser welding, CT scanning and metrology.
