Marie Simpson has joined Highway Care as HSEQ Manager, replacing Sebastian Ward.
Ms Simpson has 25 years’ experience working across several engineering sectors including civils, building, highways, rail, telecoms, and manufacturing. Her vast experience spans quality, safety and environment management, highway and tunnel maintenance, traffic management design and works supervision.
The HSEQ Manager role will continue to focus on Highway Care’s consistent achievement of UKAS Accredited ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 and drive forward people-centric processes and behaviour-based safety strategies.
Ms Simpson said: “I’m really excited to join Highway Care. They are innovators and a real advocate for progress and change. A bonus for me is that I get to come back to my favourite field of engineering – highways.”
She will be based at the Detling Hill depot and joins Highway Care effective of 7th December 2020.
