Highways England has started the search for a Delivery Assurance Partner to support the delivery workon its A303 Amesbury to Berwick Down upgrade at Stonehenge.
The contract, which will be in the region of £60 million,is expected to be awarded later this year and will involve providing technical and construction management expertise for the works contract by helping mobilise the main works contractor, overseeing construction, assisting the discharge of consent requirements and assuring the design.
Archaeological fieldwork and prelim work on the project is due to start later this year, with the five-year main construction phase expected to start by late 2022, early 2023.

This collaborative team will continue to work with local stakeholders, heritage bodies and local communities to deliver a successful and exceptional project for the area.”
