The Intelligent Transportation Society of America has announced it’s been awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract for Intelligent Transportation Systems Research and Stakeholder Support Services, supporting the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT).
The competitive contract is for a period of five years.
The contract includes implementing services in ITS research programme management, stakeholder engagement, technical information sharing, analytical and communication services, and deployment support for current and future USDOT ITS activities.
“ITS America is honoured to support continued progress in developing, deploying, and scaling the impact of ITS technologies nationwide,” said President and CEO Laura Chace. “Our long-term commitment to the ITS Joint Program Office (JPO) mission and vision, our expertise amongst our staff and members, and our ability to convene a diverse and collaborative group of ITS stakeholders will be assets to the successful execution of this work, and in providing for the broader needs of the transportation industry.”
