ITS America has issued a statement that it intends the World Congress in Los Angeles this October will go ahead as planned despite many other events being cancelled due to Coronavirus.
The 27th ITS World Congress 2020 will still occur as scheduled, October 4 – 8, 2020 in Los Angeles,” it says. “There are no plans for cancellation or postponement of the show, but the team will of course be staying in tune with all developments.”
It notes the work being done in LA to slow the spread of Covid-19 and says it’ll follow local, state and national guidance. It adds that the health and safety of exhibitors, visitors and staff is its number one priority.
Events including Intertraffic Amsterdam and the ITS Asia-Pacific conference in Brisbane have already been postponed.
