With the likelihood that the 2023 ITS World Congress in China will be online only for international visitors, ITS Australia has given more details of its Global Summit next August which will aim to provide a face-to-face event in the Asia Pacific Region to which UK and European guests are welcome.
“The ITS Australia Global Summit 2023 will be Asia Pacific’s largest face-to-face ITS event next year,” the organisers say. “Global Summit will be held in Melbourne, home to the largest urban tram network in the world, Australia’s largest port and one of the world’s busiest airline routes: Melbourne to Sydney. Melbourne leads many of Australia’s most significant connectivity, big data, transport and infrastructure projects.”
They are looking for the submission of abstracts to be considered for presentation and publication at the Global Summit, explaining that submitting an abstract is your opportunity to present to a global audience of industry professionals.
The abstract can address any of the programme themes: Smart Infrastructure and Data Ecosystems; Sustainable and Equitable Transport; Electric, Connected, Automated Transport; Future Mobility; Policy and Harmonisation; Freight, Logistics and Drones. The submission deadline is 1 March 2023.
