Waste water utilities solutions company Lanes Group have been awarded a contract by Thames Water worth between £750 million and £1 billion over the next ten years, which will mean large amounts of work across the road network in and around London.
In a LinkedIn post, Group Director Andy Brearly says the letter confirms delivery of the Thames Water Waste Water Network Services contract.
“I would like to congratulate our amazing people, deservedly for their hard work, commitment, dedication, innovation, collaboration, sacrifices, and absolute brilliance over the years,” he writes in the post.
“The tender process has been one of the most arduous and difficult ever experienced, however, our amazing team all stepped up and delivered over and above, for that I am eternally grateful. Thames Water selected the most worthy and formidable adversary.
“Message to our team – Be under no illusion your individual contribution has directly shaped this outstanding outcome and, worth noting; this is the largest ever single award from any water company on the UK mainland and, also the largest ever award to any single contract partner within Thames Water (the UK’s largest water & sewerage company).”
