Last chance to book places for JCT Traffic Signals Symposium

The organisers of the popular JCT Traffic Signals Symposium are giving industry experts one last chance to book their place to be involved in the event in Leeds next week.

This Symposium takes place at the Royal Armouries Conference Centre from 23-25 September, and includes two days of academic presentations and speeches, including a keynote from RAC Foundation Director Steve Gooding CB, FCILT, FCIHT.  There is also a large exhibition and two evening networking events, as well as the free-to-attend MOVA Users’ Group.

Adey Electronics, Chris Kennett Consultancy, Kapsch, Local Transport Projects, Mobius Networks and Braums-ATC have signed up to exhibit for the first time, joining established participants AGD Systems, ARTSM, Coeval, CT Technology, FLIR Systems, ITS UK, NAL, NOW Wireless, PTV, RTEM, Sensys Networks, Simplifai Systems, Smartmicro UK, SRL, Starling Technologies, SWARCO, Telent Technology Services, Traffic Group Signals, TRL Software, TRP, VivaCity, Westcotec and Yunex Traffic, along with the returning Institute of Highway Engineers.

The event also includes a new addition to the programme, “Signallers’ Question Time” where local authorities get a chance to ask leading industry experts to help with specific challenges or issues they are having.  Steve Gooding, Director of the RAC Foundation, is this year’s keynote speaker, and will be using his many years of experience to give a realistic view of the future of transport.  There will be an update from the Department for Transport’s Head of Road Infrastructure Technology, Darren Capes.
