After the Menai Suspension Bridge between mainland Wales and Anglesey was closed for safety reasons, traffic has been badly affected by a crash near the alternative Britannia Bridge crossing.
North Wales live reported that Police asked motorists to be patient in “extremely heavy” traffic.
Plans have been put in place to manage traffic during the Menai Bridge closure because the Britannia Bridge is susceptible to being closed during strong winds.
The crossing into Anglesey is vital for traffic heading to the port of Holyhead and onto Ireland.
