Milton Keynes Council has started its search for contractors to deliver its highways term maintenance and capital works.
The works covered by the £350M contract are comprehensive and cover all routine, reactive and planned works that need to be delivered by the authority.
Milton Keynes is seeking a contractor that will prioritise the use of the latest technology, processes and management techniques to deliver high quality services that are customer focused, right first time and provide excellent value for money.
The contract is for an initial eight years with the option to extend for a up to four years in two-year increments.
Interested suppliers have until 12 June to return responses to the selection questionnaire. Five contractors will then be invited to the tender stage.
Tenders may be submitted for one lot only. The deadline for expressions of interest is 4 July.
