Monotch, the European market leader in real-time mobility data exchange, and Applied Information, the leading US developer of intelligent transportation solutions and connected vehicle applications, have agreed to connect Applied Information’s market-leading devices and Glance platform with Monotch’s TLEX data sharing layer. The combined solution and joint go-to-market activity enables exchange of mobility data between vehicles, infrastructure and service providers, on both sides of the Atlantic.
The collaboration was announced at the ITS World Congress held in Atlanta, GA.
Integrating Applied Information’s connected devices into Monotch’s TLEX ecosystem will make roadside data available to agency applications (city, county and state DOT), In-Vehicle Information applications, service providers, AI models, and OEMs. In turn, Applied Information’s Glance platform will gain access to high-quality real-time and semi-real-time traffic and sensor data available through TLEX from partner solution providers. Applied Information and its distribution partners will be able to deliver advanced solutions based on both company offerings.
The partnership prioritizes deployment in the United States, helping cities and counties accelerate connected vehicle applications and V2I scenarios such as advanced intersection management, priority and pre‑emption strategies, and enhanced network monitoring. By speaking the same “language” of mobility, TLEX and Glance shorten time‑to‑value for agencies and their technology ecosystems.
Both organisations share a mission to make roads safer, traffic more efficient, and mobility more sustainable. Through this partnership, they will enable smarter traffic flow, improved emergency response, reduced congestion and better-informed road users. With a combined footprint covering US cities and counties as well as European regions and road authorities, Monotch and Applied Information are set to drive real impact across the mobility ecosystem.
