North Yorkshire County Council begins search for civil engineering contractors

North Yorkshire County Council has begun the search for contractors for its four-year civil engineering framework.

It is looking for works to mainly take place on bridges and the road network on behalf of the council in both North and West Yorkshire.

Work will involve resurfacing, reconstruction, slurry sealing, repairs to bridges, drainage, kerbing and retaining walls and culverts.

The frameworks will consist of four lots with up to ten suppliers in lots one and two, eight in lot three and six in lot 4. The lots are:

*Lot one: North Yorkshire ad York-£0-£500,000

*Lot two: Bradford, Calderdale, Kirkless, Leeds & Wakefield-£0-£500,000

*Lot three: North Yorkshire, York, Bradford, Calderdale, Kirkless, Leeds & Wakefield-£500,00-£2m

*Lot four: North Yorkshire, York, Bradford, Calderdale, Kirkless, Leeds & Wakefield-£2m plus.

Closing date for expressions of interest is: April 21st via contractsfinder.service.gov.uk.
