The Office of Road and Rail’s Head of Economics, Finance and Efficiency will explain the process for developing the third Road Investment Strategy at an ITS (UK) breakfast meeting this week.
The event, on Tuesday 21 March, features Adam Spencer-Bickle taking members through the process. Having led ORR’s advice on the challenge and deliverability of proposals for RIS2 – the RIS2 Efficiency Review – he now heads up the team responsible for ORR’s input into the development of RIS3 and for monitoring National Highways’ financial and efficiency performance during the second road period.
RIS3 is the Government’s next five year funding period for the strategic road network, covering 2025 to 2030. It determines the budget for National Highways, including expenditure on intelligent transport systems.
