Over 300 individuals nominated for 2023 Highways Heroes awards

Over 300 individuals have been nominated for this year’s Highways Heroes Awards.

Following the closing date of last Friday (23rd June) the organiser has announced that yet again, year on year, the Highways Heroes Awards have continued to. break records with a total of 313 individuals nominated for this year’s awards.

Last year the total number of submissions was 102, meaning that this year’s total represents a 300% increase in those nominations..

Speaking about the daunting task facing our judges, Kevin Robinson, founder of the Highways Heroes Awards said,

“All I can say is I am glad I am not a judge. Having read the nominations I have to say that this year the quality is unsurpassed and each of those nominated are actually worthy winners.

But there can only be a small number of winners, and following the closing of nominations a process will now begin to whittle down the long list into a shortlist ahead of the judging day to be held virtually on Thursday 20th July where the final 10 winners will be decided with all shortlisted notified the following day.

The Highways Heroes Awards come after a time of unprecedented change not only in our industry, but as part of our everyday lives and be recognised at a special one-off ceremony at the Grand Connaught Rooms on 30th November
