Queensland’s Gold Coast set to welcome ITS Australia Summit with day three Careers Expo

The ITS Australia Summit returns to the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre from 19–21 November and Highways News co-founder Paul Hutton will be there, creating podccasts, sponsored by TomTom, Westcotec, AGD Systems and Nicander and IntegrateITS.

Backed by the Queensland Government and Transport for NSW, this flagship event is the ultimate gathering for the transport technology community. With the powerful theme “The Next Generation of ITS – Building Safer, More Sustainable Communities,” the Summit will spotlight how cutting-edge intelligent transport systems are transforming the way we move, making our cities smarter, safer, and greener.

The 16th year od the Summit brings together an extraordinary mix of government leaders, industry pioneers, and top-tier researchers for a high-impact program of keynotes, panels, technical sessions, and an interactive exhibition.

“The Summit is the meeting point for those driving the next generation of transport systems” said Susan Harris, CEO of ITS Australia. It’s about turning innovation into action for safer, greener and more efficient mobility.”

In addition to engaging keynote sessions, panel discussions, technical presentations, and an exhibition showcasing ITS innovations from leading ITS vendors, service providers and start-ups, the three days will also see demonstrations from the likes of Lexus, Deloitte and QUT, with live ITS displays. Among the session topics covered are autonomous vehicles, traffic management, smart infrastructure, connected mobility and data analytics.

Day three of the event will see the ITS Australia Careers Expo welcome students, offering opportunities to connect universities with over 40 potential employers from the public and private sectors, plus a selection of start-ups.

Whether you’re passionate about connected and automated vehicles, mobility data, traffic management, or digital infrastructure, this is your front-row seat to the breakthroughs shaping the future of transport in Australia and beyond.
