West Midlands-based carriageway and footpath surfacing and surface treatments specialists Kiely Bros are looking to recruit an experienced Quanity Surveyor for its Surface Treatments division.

As Quantity Surveyor, the successful candidate will be responsible for the commercial management of surface treatment projects, working closely with operational teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, profitably and to the highest standards.

Among the position’s responsibilities are:

• Commercial management of contracts from tender through to final account.

• Managing variations and subcontractor accounts.

• Supporting project teams to ensure commercial best practice.

• Managing variations and subcontractor accounts

• Supporting and mentoring junior commercial staff

• Working closely with operational and senior management teams.

The successful candidate will have proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within road surfacing, surface treatments or surface dressing, strong commercial and contractual knowledge, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, a proactive, solutions-focused approach and pride in your work and a desire to represent a respected family business.
