Rygor Group invests in wildflower planting of local areas

Team members at multi-franchise automotive company, Rygor Group Ltd, donned appropriate footwear to plant the first of five hectares of wildflower meadows, in partnership with wildlife charity, GreenTheUK.

Planting has taken place close to five of Rygor’s sites, and the first area supported by the Group was located at Long Lane Recreation Ground, Stanwell – close to Rygor Auto Heathrow Van, Rygor Auto Heathrow Truck, and newly opened Rygor Mercedes-Benz, which supports passenger car customers in the Heathrow area.

Xanthe Caldecott, Co-Founder and MD at GreenTheUK said: “We are delighted to partner with Rygor as it supports its local communities with the creation of five hectares of wildflower-rich meadows. We want to help everybody to work together to combat climate change and protect and restore key habitats for the future. We hope other businesses will follow the example of companies like Rygor”.

In addition to investing in GreenTheUK, supporting wildlife in the communities closest to its sites, in Autumn this year Rygor Group Ltd. is gifting wildflower seeds to its team, to help them positively impact their own environments, supporting pollinators and creating an enhanced space that they can enjoy.

Aftersales Director, Sean Joyce, took part in the planting. Sean said: “We have a responsibility to do what we can to be more environmentally conscious and protect the earth’s future. We continue to focus heavily on our EV customer offering and provide expert support to customers looking to implement electric vehicles into their fleets”
