Strictly Highways 2024 agenda announced

LCRIG have unveiled the highly anticipated agenda for next month’s Strictly Highways conference.

Delegates will have the opportunity to hear from a diverse lineup of esteemed speakers, including representatives from local authorities, national government and the wider sector. The discussions will focus on topics such as collaboration, innovation, skills and decarbonization, all aligned with LCRIG’s core activities.

Taking place from 2-3 October at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool, this year’s two-day conference has captured unprecedented interest.  Sponsorship and exhibitor spaces have booked up in record time, and the number of speaker requests has been overwhelming. In crafting the agenda, we have incorporated valuable feedback from last year’s attendees and engaged closely with our members and board. The programme is designed not only to address current challenges but also pave the way for the future of local roads.

In addition to a packed conference programme, Strictly Highways will feature over 50 exhibitors showcasing cutting-edge products and services. The event will also provide plenty of networking opportunities, including an awards ceremony and an evening event designed to connect industry peers in a more informal setting, while celebrating the achievements of our sector.

LCRIG’s CEO, Paula Claytonsmith, expressed her excitement for the upcoming conference, sharing the sense of responsibility that comes with creating the agenda: “We are incredibly excited for this year’s Strictly Highways conference. Crafting the agenda has been both a privilege and a responsibility, as we’ve worked hard to ensure the topics reflect the needs and ambition of our sector. This event is an essential platform for fostering collaboration, sharing innovative ideas, and driving meaningful change. We look forward to welcoming delegates to what promises to be another fantastic Strictly Highways.”
