The national and local government initiative promoting the future of multi modal mobility, the Transport Data Initiative, has announced its third webinar, to be held on Tuesday 15 December from 11:00 – 12:00.  

It will include Department for Transport representatives from the ‘Street Manager’ project, including Paul Chandler, Product Owner: Street Manager, Department for Transport and Kyle Davidson, Technical Lead (Street Manager), Kainos / Department for Transport.

Street Manager is the new digital service for planning, managing and communicating roadworks in England. It went fully live on 1 July 2020 and is  being used by all highway authorities, utility companies and their contractors. Street Manager is for registered users from those organisations

It is also now publishing Open Data for anyone to download and use, where Street Manager has data on all utility street works and highway authority road works on the public road network in England. It includes additional, optional data on highways activities, such as special events and other road closures.

This event will focus on the Open Data, providing details, giving a demonstration and answering questions.
