The Transport Technology Forum is offering local authorities further support and expertise to help them develop high-quality bid documents for delivering electric vehicle charging infrastructure in their areas.
A 75-minute online session on Tuesday 8 July will bring together experts from across the EV industry to share practical advice on bid writing and explore innovative charging solutions.
Experienced bid writer Russell Fenner, from Revolutions Consulting, will provide expert guidance on how local authorities can structure compelling, competitive funding proposals. His presentation will focus on crafting clear, well-evidenced bids that stand out in an increasingly competitive market.
Beth Marsh, Senior Business Development Manager at Trojan Energy, will also present the company’s AON solution, which connects to home energy supply for flexible charging, and is based on the principles of cross-pavement gully channel technology – a discreet, street-level approach to enabling residents without off-street parking to safely charge their electric vehicles at home.
“This session is about removing barriers and helping authorities navigate the challenges of both bid writing and infrastructure delivery,” explained Shamala Gadgil, Chair of the TTF EV Charging Infrastructure Working Group. “With funding opportunities moving quickly, getting bids right the first time is essential. This webinar will provide local authorities with practical tools to accelerate EV charging delivery where it’s needed most.”
