The Traffic Group is coming together at Traffex 2024 (CBS Arena, Coventry from 22 – 23 May 2024) on stand C30 to present a range of new solutions across its ITS, parking and temporary traffic management markets. A leader in innovative solutions, the business has been enhancing the performance of products across its portfolio using artificial intelligence.
AGD, a leader in innovative solutions, will demo its latest products for pedestrian and vehicle detection at Traffex 2024. Among these is the pioneering AI optical detector, the AGD650. This unique product uses an onboard image processor to identify different vehicle targets at the stop line, enabling active travel and bus lane priority. The team will showcase a wide range of applications, including a recent SCOOT trial in Bath, demonstrating AGD’s commitment to cutting-edge solutions.
Traffic Group Signals (TGS) will launch its Endurance charging system. This new system is a safer, greener, and more efficient means of charging batteries for temporary traffic signals, improving the effectiveness of depot charging and extending battery lifespan. The TGS Professional Services team will also be on hand to present the latest schemes designed using the groundbreaking Studio software platform, which revolutionises the way temporary traffic signalling is delivered at major sites.
Finally, MAV Systems will showcase its latest innovation, the AiQ Range of ANPR cameras, which has image recognition capabilities that go beyond reading number plates.
