SatNav, mapping and traffic information company TomTom has been chosen by luxury car brand Maserati to provide maps, navigation and connected services.
They’ll be incorporated into the new Maserati Intelligent Assistant in-vehicle infotainment system.
TomTom will provide IQ Maps, traffic, connected navigation services, destination prediction, and a premium user interface for the Ghibli, Levante and Quattroporte models due to go on sale next month.
The MIA in-vehicle infotainment system includes a system showing charging points and their availability for Maserati’s upcoming electrified Folgore range, while the driver will be provided with a cost comparison of available recharging /refuelling stations that are within range.
