Top consultancies among the winners on new West Midlands Combined Authority procurement framework

WSP, Arcadis and Mott MacDonald are among a group of 40 companies that have won places on the new West Midlands Combined Authority procurement framework.

Atkins and Jacobs also feature on the framework, The Midlands Connecct Specialist Technical Framework, set up to help the combined authority deliver the Midland’s Connect technical programme for 2021 and onwards.

Arcadis has won places on five of the lots and WSP and Mott MacDoanld winning places on four of the six lots.

Lot 1 is assigned to multi-disciplinary transport planning services, lot 2 is for highway modelling and support, while lot 3 focuses on rail and demand modeeling and appraisal support. Lot four is for technology and innovation while lot 5 includes the wider economic appraisal and research leaving lot 6 to cover advisory services in niche specialisms, which the majority of the 40 winning companies will work on.
