The software company Trapeze Group has won a contract for Transport Scotland’s Digital Travel Data Services project.

The contract involves provision of a Travel Data System, including systems integration and/or Application Programming Interfaces for a Data Management System, Journey Planning System and Disruption Management System.

There are also provisions for digital services, Travel Information Provision, Operational Management and Delivery, management, governance, support and maintenance.

The project formally commences this month will be delivered over a four year period with the option to extend +1 +1. This time period excludes an initial 9 month development phase.

The total value of the procurement is just under £6 million.
