TRL is reminding mobility experts about the invitation to its next knowledge-sharing webinar about Unlocking Micromobility: The Path to Better Regulation, which takes place on 3 April.
The discussion will explore possible future paths to micromobility regulation in the UK and Europe, hearing from TRL experts George Beard and Ianto Guy and Mark Urbanowski from the University of Warwick.
They’ll look at three reports: University of Warwick’s latest research for the Department for Transport, providing evidence to inform future e-scooter regulations in the UK, TRL & fka GmbH’s study for the European Commission on how to harmonise regulations for Personal Mobility Devices (PMDs) across Europe and WMG, University of Warwick’s personal light electric vehicle (PLEV) battery safety research for the Office of Product Safety and Standards on the causes of and mitigations for battery safety risks.
The webinar is hosted by Highways News’s Paul Hutton and will take place at the Smart Mobility Living Lab in London and be streamed online from 12 midday.
