Recordings of sessions from this year’s Transport Technology Forum Autumn Update, which took place on Tuesday 12th November at the IET Austin Court in Birmingham are now online.
The event heard from Department for Transport Traffic Technology Deputy Director Anthony Ferguson about priorities of the new government policy and funding, and from ITS Policy Lead Darren Capes about the £50 million Traffic Signals Obsolescence Grant and Green Light Fund, one year on. There were also updates from different policy leads about areas such as Artificial Intelligence and Digital Traffic Regulation Orders that are of great interest to those in the transport technology sector.
There were also updates on data and standards, UTMC, TTF, plus a European perspective from ERTICO and details of the 2027 ITS World Congress in Birmingham.
The Autumn Update also discussed the activities of the TTF working groups. The five Working Group chairs appeared in a video showcasing this which you can watch here followed by a question and answer session.

The next major Transport Technology Forum event is its Annual Conference, which returns to the Leonardo Hotel, Hinckley Island in Leicestershire from the 6th to the 8th May 2025.
